Florin Iki is a Kenyan-Italian visual artist based between Hamburg and Nairobi. Born into a family of artists and having lived among different cultures, Iki has been exposed to various art disciplines from a young age. She works across painting, drawing, collage and installation to explore questions of identity, youth, emotional states, mental health and womanhood. Iki's work is observational and personal: she reflects on her feelings, emotions and experiences, searching for unfamiliar paths within herself. The figures that appear in her work however are often anonymous, allowing the viewer to find their own feelings and stories in them.

Iki has exhibited in a number of group shows in Nairobi including: Various Small Fires, Circle Art Gallery, 2021; I Will See What I Want to See, Circle Art Gallery, 2019; New Works, Circle Art Gallery (Artsy online). Iki is currently studying at the University of Fine Arts of Hamburg (HFBK), undertaking a BA in Drawing, Painting, Sculpture and Time-Based Media.
